Valmet provided key pulping technology to Nine Dragons Paper’s new Beihai factory and delivered successfully

Valmet supplies the latest Valmet Continuous Cooking technology and high-yield alkali recovery furnace (Sketch Map)

Valmet signed several new orders for pulping technology with Nine Dragons Paper to provide two complete chemical pulp production lines, two bleached chemical mechanical pulp (BCTMP) production lines, one alkali furnace and several denitration systems for Nine Dragons Paper's new pulp and paper mill in Beihai, Guangxi. The project is delivered in stages and is expected to be put into operation in 2023.
     
In this project, our company has provided Valmet (China) Co., Ltd. with preheater and intermediate heater, which are both ASME and GB standard products. Preheater or feed water heater (also known as high pressure heater) is an equipment that uses steam extraction of steam turbine to heat and recover boiler feed water. It can improve the thermal efficiency of power plant, save fuel, and contribute to the safe operation of the unit.
