Uzbekistan Sirdarya 1500MW CCGT Independent Power Project

On August 19, the foundation pouring of the No. 2 waste heat boiler of the 1500 MW CCGT independent power generation project in Sirdarya, Uzbekistan, contracted by Zhejiang Thermal Power Construction Co., Ltd. and China Energy Co., Ltd. of CEEC, was completed, which attracted extensive attention from the local media of Uzbekistan, and went to the project site to carry out news reports on the construction of the project, which were broadcast on relevant platforms on the 21st local time.

Uzbekistan is a "landlocked country" in the hinterland of Central Asia, and it is also the only way for the "the Belt and Road" to extend westward. The project is located 5 kilometers west of Xilin County, Sirdaryo Region Prefecture, Uzbekistan, about 150 kilometers away from the capital Tashkent, with a construction area of about 75 hectares. It is the first IPP project and the largest power plant project in the country, as well as the most advanced 9H gas turbine project in the world. The project adopts a gas turbine with the highest combustion temperature, maximum individual power, and highest efficiency in the world, meeting the design standard requirements of "zero discharge of wastewater" and having multiple "firsts".

After the completion of the project, more than 36 million kilowatt hours of electricity can be supplied to the local power grid every day, fully meeting the power demand of Sirdarya, Bukhara and Samarkand, and benefiting Uzbekistan.

 Potable Water Storage Tank

Bulk Diesel Oil Storage Tank

The bulk diesel oil storage tank is used for intermediate storage to maintain the temperature of the diesel oil at a certain temperature, and then transport the diesel oil to the system.
