NOOR Phase II and NOOR Phase III CSP Projects in Ouarzazate, MoroccoTime of issue : 2020- 02-20
The 510MW NOOR solar thermal power park in Morocco is located in Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood" of North Africa. The first phase of the project uses trough technology with an installed capacity of 160MW. The NOOR Phase II trough-type CSP plant has an installed capacity of 200 MW, while the NOOR Phase III is developed using tower technology with an installed capacity of 150 MW. The two projects of NOOR Phase II and NOOR Phase III adopt a development model of simultaneous construction and coordinated operation to maximize their joint advantages. As the world's largest solar trough and tower hybrid CSP plant under construction, it has attracted much attention since its launch.
