Valmet has signed several new pulp‑making technology orders with Nine Dragons Paper, supplying the company’s newly built pulp and paper mill in Beihai, Guangxi, with two complete chemical pulp production lines, two bleached chemi‑mechanical pulp (BCTMP) lines, a recovery boiler, and multiple denitrification systems. The project will be delivered in phases and is expected to commence operations in 2023.

Our company supplied preheaters and intermediate heaters to Valmet (China) Co., Ltd. for this project; these units are certified to both ASME and Chinese national standards. A preheater, or feedwater heater (also known as a high-pressure heater, or HP heater), is a device that uses extracted steam from the steam turbine to heat and recover boiler feedwater.
