The Macao Waste-to-Energy Center is the primary waste‑treatment facility of the Macao Special Administrative Region, located in the North Ammunition Industrial Zone on Taipa. The completed Phase I and Phase II facilities currently process 1,728 tonnes of waste per day. Upon completion of Phase III, the center’s total daily processing capacity will increase to 3,028 tonnes, with an annual electricity output of approximately 400 million kilowatt-hours—enough to supply about 60,000 households.

On January 30, 2021, our company undertook the fabrication of pressure vessel equipment for the third-phase expansion project, designed, manufactured, inspected, and accepted in accordance with ASME standards. Through the concerted efforts of all departments within our company and with the trust and support of the client, both parties overcame challenges together, ensuring the successful delivery of the project’s pressure vessel equipment.
First batch: May 15, 2023 (deaerator, continuous blowdown, periodic blowdown, and condensate expansion tank)
Batch 2: August 18, 2023 (Drainage tank, closed-loop cooling water surge tank, exhaust gas cooler)
Third batch: September 6, 2023 (gas storage tanks, condensate tanks)
This project will effectively address Macao’s urban waste‑management challenges, enhance processing efficiency, mitigate adverse environmental impacts, and further improve residents’ quality of life. It will also serve as a flagship initiative along the Belt and Road and within the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, extending its reach to Portuguese‑speaking markets. At the same time, it has set a remarkable benchmark for our company in expanding into new language‑specific international markets.
